A Little About Me
I am excited to provide comprehensive psychiatric care and medication management services for the patients of Pink Couch Wellness.

Throughout my professional career, I have had many opportunities to work with and learn about the mental health issues that people deal with everyday. At the age of 20, I began hands-on learning working as a psychiatric technician at an inpatient psychiatric unit. After becoming an LPN, I worked in a wide variety of mental health support roles, including in long term care, outpatient mental health, outpatient substance abuse, family practice and corrections.

Then, I returned to school and earned my RN license and worked in inpatient mental health and outpatient substance abuse. For nearly six years, I worked specifically with medication-assisted substance abuse treatment.

Now, after receiving my psychiatric nurse practitioner's degree, I am looking forward to the next phase of my career. When I work with clients, you can be assured that I will create a safe and nonjudgmental environment, where you can feel welcomed and understood. I will work to meet you where you are and collaborate to effectively manage symptoms and create a personalized treatment plan to help support your mental health goals.

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Patients often come to me when they’ve either tried therapy and it hasn’t yielded them the results they hoped for, or if they’ve noticed signs of lowered functioning. For example, they’ve been unable to get out of bed in the morning due to sadness.
